Why was only one side of the conversation recorded?
The following are possible reasons why Callnote didn’t capture sound:
- In the Callnote Settings tab select and check audio input and output devices you use while recording.
- Headsets issues. Sometimes Callnote cannot catch sound from the Bluetooth headsets, so we can recommend recording calls via USB or cable-connected headsets.
- Sometimes Callnote cannot catch sound in case a participant is calling with a regular/mobile phone.
I’m hearing a doubling effect or echo in my recording. How can I fix this problem?
Callnote records all sounds through your mic, which may cause the echo. The only way to avoid this is to isolate the mic from multiple sounds. Using a headset with a built-in mic will help.
Why do I hear extra noises on the recording?
This issue is a common one when the call is recorded without a headset. Please use a USB or cable-connected headset with a built-in mic to solve this issue.
